Rejected petition Prevent the Kennel Club registering litters of puppies from puppy farmers
Rejected on
The kennel club issued the following press release stating
"One the three inadvertently buy from puppy farms on impulse"
Yet the Kennel Club allow puppy litter registrations from known puppy farmers.
Time the Kennel Club stopped registering litters from puppy farmers
Below is taking from the Kennel Club's press release 27 August 2019
"Nearly a third of UK puppy buyers admit they could have bought from a puppy farm after not doing enough research, inadvertently fuelling this cruel trade".
Most puppy buyers rely on the fact that if a puppy is Kennel Clubbed registered it doesn't come from a puppy farm, which is not true.
If the Kennel Club wished to stop puppy farmers they could so overnight by refusing to register their litters.
