Petition Direct Control over RBS management salaries and bonuses

We feel it inappropriate that the board of management and executive officers or the Royal Bank of Scotland determine the levels of their own salaries and bonuses. We urge the government to instruct UKFI, as agents managing our shareholding in the company, to be more proactive and to directly manage this function, the salaries and bonuses should reflect the general rate of executive remuneration within other nationalised industries.
