Petition Trade sanctions on Saudi Arabia now

More details

In Saudi Arabia:
- despite being a signatory to the UN charter on Human rights including religious freedom, any citizen choosing to turn from Islam is stripped of both nationality and citizenship; public worship of any kind besides Islamic is forbidden.
-trade unions are banned
-all public protests are prohibited; those who defy this pay with their lives
-freedom of movement is not respected; a modern form of slavery exists whereby foreign workers are asked to surrender their passports and can only enter/leave with the permission of Saudi employers,
-Clerics set up schools to teach children to hate Jews and Christians.
Our first priority is protecting dignity and human rights; no trade price is worth this. The government must act immediately in concert with international partners to bring pressure on the Saudi authorities to genuinely respect human rights.
