This petition was submitted during the 2017–2019 Conservative government

Rejected petition Commit to adopting the EU's anti-tax-avoidance legislation regardless of Brexit.

Brexit is tainted by claims it is a ploy by wealthy tax-avoiders to dodge EU legislation due to come into force in January 2020. A commitment to adopt the legislation would clear the air, help bring the country together, and secure the proper funding of public services after Brexit.
