Gloves Up Knives Down is the most high profile and leading initiative to meaningfully tackle knife crime in the UK. We are passionate about the re-introduction of Boxing into the National Curriculum. GUKD's guiding principle is Preventative Intervention.

As highlighted in a paper written exclusively for Gloves Up Knives Down by UN professor of Child Psychology Joana Costa; Preventative Intervention highlights Boxing as a driver of change for young people at school, providing them with a positive framework of discipline, respect and a sense of self worth - which we believe set the foundations necessary for becoming a responsible citizen.

We challenge the Government to join us.
