Rejected petition Demand that the Prime Minister explain his position on 'the will of the people'.

According to the current Prime Minister 'The Will of the People' is paramount. As the people whose will he purports to represent, we demand that he explain why he thinks that 17.5 million voting to leave the EU represents 'The Will of the People' when 29 million people did not vote for that outcome.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

In any case, the language used by the Prime Minister is a personal decision for the PM and not a decision for the UK Government tor Parliament as a whole.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
