Rejected petition Declare Covid-19 strain of coronavirus a notifiable disease

Support English businesses, particularly smaller ones and those in the travel and tourism industry as the Scottish Government has already done on 22 February 2020. If the declaration is made then this will trigger insurance protection. Currently, there is no such protection for English firms.

No insurance is putting many companies at risk of closing, and hard working people out of work unable to pay mortgages and risking homelessness. The impact on the economy will be devastating if the disease cannot be contained.
