Under the EU Settlement Scheme, EU citizens' family can settle after 5 years' continuous residence (no other requirement), and the application is free. UK citizens' family can only settle after 5 years' continuous residence with a family visa, providing they meet the financial (at least £18,600 a year) and language requirements, and pay £2,389.
Regarding immigration rights, UK citizens' family should be treated in the same way as, if not more favourably than, EU citizen’s family.
