As part of their science classes, children could have an applied session to plant and harvest vegetables. In the process, they could learn the benefits of growing one's greens, composting & recycling & the benefits for the environment.

Education is the basis of a good, responsible citizen. In light of the current climate, it is important that future generations understand the basis of a sustainable economy, food sourcing and waste management.
