We, the undersigned, demand that the UK Parliament give serious and urgent consideration to the creation of a separate English Parliament with our own First Minister and government to promote, pursue and protect our interests as the English nation.

We believe that, when Scotland has its own parliament, and Wales and Northern Ireland have their own assemblies, the lack of a separate devolved legislature for England represents a serious democratic deficit, which denies the right of the people of England to be represented as a separate nation.
