Closed petition Ban gambling games based on entertainment TV shows

Closed on

Restrict the use of TV show brands that have a youth demographic being used to produce targeted games.

Increasingly online gaming companies are producing games using the names and graphics of shows like Love Island, The Voice and Britain’s Got Talent. The demographics of these shows are largely young people.

One of The voice games promotes itself by saying ‘Ready to sing your heart out and get those Red buttons pressed! Make the judges' chairs turn around and you'll be awarded with some sweet prizes’ - this is not only using the branding of the show but also the shows format.
