Closed Make employers provide full sick pay for 6 months

I want the government to scrap Statutory Sick Pay and require employers to pay employees full pay when off sick for 6 months. People in the UK should not be out of pocket when there sick and statutory sick pay is not enough.

I have a lung disease and I suffer when I have to rely on Statutory Sick Pay. It's extremely low and it should have been increased ages ago by the Government. I want the Government to make employers pay their workers their full monthly salary so they will not lose any income and suffer because of sickness. We are all human and should not suffer when we are sick that just adds another problem to your life
