Closed petition Negotiate for Associate EU Citizenship for those who wish to keep EU rights

We, the undersigned, would like the UK to negotiate with the EU for some form of arrangement whereby ALL British nationals are granted the right to apply for associate citizenship and keep the rights we secured almost five decades ago, particularly, the right to live, work and study in Europe!

48% of people who voted in one of the largest democratic movements in British history voted to remain. Those people voted to keep their EU privileges such as free movement, frictionless trade and access to new medicine! Seeing as repeated attempts to prevent the UK’s departure from the EU have not been successful, we, the undersigned, are earnestly requesting that the UK attempts to negotiate associate EU citizenship for those who wish to keep their rights! This would bring security and closure!
