Rejected petition Make panic buying and stockpiling essentials illegal

The panic buying and unnecessary stockpiling of essentials will do more damage to this country than Covid-19.
It should be made illegal and punishable by law. Everyone needs access to essentials, not just people with the time and financial means to empty shop shelves.

The only way to stop this and to allow everyone access to the essentials that everyone needs is to make it illegal and to enforce it.
