The additional stress of financial pressure, caused by lose of work, during the Coronavirus situation, can damage health resilience, reduce immunity and exacerbate the impact of this viral outbreak on our citizens. To mitigate this financial anxiety delay payments for utilities electricity/gas/water/internet & council tax. In addition freeze interest payments for mortgages/credit cards and personal loans. The suggested period would be four months from the date legislation is passed

We can't accept your petition because suspending payments for mortgages, rent and utility bills is a matter for individual lenders, landlords, and utility companies and not the UK Government or Parliament.
