We encourage the Government to look forward 20 to 25 years and apply the following scheme.
All the existing pension schemes for ALL employees whose pension is paid by the taxpayers including MP's should be closed to new members to keep in line with the private sector.
An Employers Provident Fund (EPF) should be set up to which all new recruits would be members with identical conditions for all.
This EPF should then award pensions in time to come that are based on, and NO better than the average available in the private sector.
This scheme should NOT be adjustable by any single group especially MP's.
