Closed petition Set up National Helpline for non-medical services during Covid19 outbreak.
Closed on
This phone line should set up as one stop shop manned by trained volunteers who can advise on various issues such as: personal financial matters, business, travel, access to food and other services while self isolating for those who do not have technology e.g. older people & people in poorer areas.
There are all lot of vulnerable people who have issues with accessing the internet, they either have no access or cannot do so for medical and social reasons. Many people are overwhelmed by the conflicting and confusing advice that is available and this is the way to sign-post them in a more efficient manner. At the moment there is nothing of this sort, and it will become even more necessary as this Covid19 outbreak progresses. This should work with foodbanks, supermarkets and local services.
