Closed Allow coronavirus victims to be buried according to their religious beliefs

The Coronavirus Act enables local authorities to direct that a deceased person's body is disposed of in a way which is not in accordance with their religious beliefs. Deceased persons should be allowed to be buried in accordance with their religious beliefs.

The Government should ensure that this legislation is not used to dispose of a deceased person's body in a way which is not in accordance with that person's religious beliefs.
