Temporarily suspend certain aspects of the Package Travel Regulations to assist companies in the travel industry to survive the current COVID-19 crisis.

The travel industry urges the Government to make the following immediate, temporary changes to the PTRs:

- Remove the 14 day time limit for refund payments.
- Allow refund credits as an acceptable alternative to cash refunds, with all protections carried forward.
- Travel companies should not be responsible for providing refunds if these costs are not covered by the suppliers (e.g. the hotel or airline).
