Closed Protect the NHS and healthcare workers from legal action during COVID19

Make it illegal to sue the NHS or healthcare workers for medical malpractice or negligence while providing treatment during the Coronavirus pandemic, and protect healthcare workers from criminal prosecution for the same.

As a paramedic practitioner working on the frontline, both myself and my colleagues are open to legal action arising from malpractice or negligence. Increased pressure on the NHS and changing approaches to staffing and patient care could result in mistakes in care being made. The NHS and healthcare workers need to be protected from any legal action during this time.
