Rejected petition COVID-19 Financial grants for self employed to match those who are employed

To give self employed sole traders 80% of their average monthly income up to £2,500 if the self employed trade means they can’t work from home, or to make up the shortfall of income through lack of work on a monthly basis. To basically provide the same financial grants as those who are employed.

More details

As the chancellor stood today and said “We said we would stand together with the British public and we meant it” we want Boris Johnson and the Chancellor to do what they promised and stand by every person not just the majority.

We’re asking for this promise to be upheld and to include self employed who currently have less work or no work at all coming in, who can’t work from home, have bills to pay and families to support.

We need ACTION NOW before many businesses collapse.
