Rejected petition 80% pay for workers living with a Covid-19 High-Risk category person

Pay workers who live with a Covid-19 high-risk category person 80% of their wages so they do not put their loved ones at risk by leaving the house every day for work.

More details

My mother is in the Covid-19 high-risk category, she has been told that she must self isolate and that catching the virus will cause her death. Her husband has to leave the house every day to go to work in a care home. He is putting my mother at risk every day but has no choice as he is the only source of income they have. They live in a very small bungalow with one bathroom. Spouses of those who are high risk need the government's support to keep their partners safe.
