Closed Implement a windfall tax on UK billionaires to fund effort to fight Covid-19

There are 54 billionaires in the UK, and the Government should implement a one-off windfall tax on these billionaires to help the UK through the current pandemic, and recover afterwards.

The UK Government has used public money to support companies owned by billionaires in the past, including by bailing out the banks during the financial crisis. During the current crisis the Government should put in place legislation to tax billionaires to provide money to support the public.
