Closed Require MOT services to close to reduce spread of Covid-19

Allowing MOT services to remain open increases the risk of the public and staff catching Covid-19, both through transmission directly between people, and potentially indirectly from car surfaces.

The Government has extended MOTs, so to prevent the spread of Covid-19 all MOT services should be closed, so employees can be furloughed and become entitled to income support under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
