Closed petition Increase Child Tax Credit payments during Covid-19

Increase child tax payments for those like myself who are just getting Child Tax Credits, and are not in receipt of Universal Credit. As children are off school, families who are already on low budgets are under increased pressure.

Those out of work can apply for up to 80% of wages paid by the government, and people claiming Universal Credit have had their payments increased due to Covid-19. Others, including carers and single parents who might not be eligible for Universal Credit, appear to have been left out. Not all schools are offering food vouchers and many families are struggling with living costs.
