Closed Support retired people that are losing their investment income.

Offer financial support to those missing out on investment income, similar to the furlough and self-employed income support schemes.
People that rely on dividend income to live on are being impacted just as much as the employed and self employed.

Government/PRA/BOE are the cause of a lot of dividends now being stopped. Government are the only ones that can do something to help and have a scheme in place to help those whose retirement income has been devastated as a consequence of the pandemic. Subsequent governments have completely ignored the plight of savers in favour of supporting those with debt and supporting the housing market.
