Closed petition Make confiscation of property by parents or guardians illegal (within reason)

Make the confiscation or destruction of property that belongs to a child by their parents or legal guardian illegal with the following exemptions:

1: The item is either illegal or being used illegally.
2: The item is not appropriate or they are using the item to access inappropriate content.

As I am sure all of us have experienced as a child, parents have confiscated or even destroyed your property unfairly. This is not fair on the child as it belongs to them and just because they are of a younger age does not mean they are not entitled to the same property rights as adults.
