Closed Refuse Dairy Industry Bailouts: Transition to a Plant-Based Food System

The Royal Association of Dairy Farmers and NFU have called for a government bailout of the dairy industry.

We ask the Government to not bailout the dairy industry and instead financially support farmers by investing in a nationwide transition to a sustainable and just plant-based food system.

The dairy industry is a contributor to climate breakdown and ecosystem collapse.

The dairy industry is responsible for killing millions of animals globally every year.

The dairy industry uses large amounts of land, preventing the UK from growing enough food to be food secure.

A plant-based food system could greatly improve all of these issues.
