Ban smoking cigarettes on apartment balconies to prevent neighbouring residents who smoke from blowing smoke into non-smokers' apartments. Provide non-smokers with a smoke-free environment in their home.

The secondhand smoke from neighbouring apartments with residents who smoke is blown into the apartments of non-smokers. The health risks of breathing secondhand smoke is well documented and governments in other countries have taken action to ban smoking on apartment balconies due to the health risks presented to non-smoking neighbours. The UK Government should ban smoking on apartment balconies as it currently presents an uncontrollable health risk to non-smokers in their homes.
