Closed Stop automatic migration of Child Tax Credit claimants to Universal Credit

The Government should stop moving claimants of Child Tax Credits automatically to Universal Credit when parents have a change of circumstances, unless the claimant give consent.

Children are suffering because the child allowance, under Universal Credit, can be subject to sanctions and deductions, which may not be their fault. This is unfair. The Government should stop this automatic migration, or exempt the child allowance element of Universal Credit from any sanctions or deductions.
