Rejected petition Covid 19! Minimum fine for breaking rules should be £1000. Max fine £5000

Currently the fine for breaking Covid19 rules is £60,.discounted to £30 if paid within 14 days.
Subsequent offences start at £120, doubling with each further offence.
These fines are too soft.
For example, in Germany the fine is €25000.

More details

Some people are still ignoring the rules.
The minimum fine should be £1000, rising to a maximum of £5000.
That would deter people from breaking the rules.
Increase the minimum fine now!
