Poland already has some of the strictest legislation on abortion in Europe, and it is possible these will be tightened, at a time when protest is almost impossible due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The UK Government should urge the Polish Government to reconsider its approach to abortion and ensure that women's rights are protected.
