Closed Fully support the World Health Organisation’s global fight against Covid-19.

The UK Government to pledge our full support for the World Health Organization (WHO) and ensure that it is fully funded to continue to coordinate the international fight against Covid-19, and to condemn Donald Trump’s cutting off the USA support for the WHO.

International coordination and cooperation is vital in achieving maintainable defences against Covid-19 so we can restart the global economy. The WHO, properly funded and independent, can stand out and cut through National borders in this fight. Now is not the time for countries or individuals to be trying to score political points. We need to pledge to stand out against partisanship and to lead the global funding of the WHO at this time of need.
