Rejected petition Eventindustry staff to be treated as SE evenif PAYE payments cross 50% of income

Unfortunately Events industry workers work for a variety of agencies, some will pay through Paye other with invoices! We file our own taxes and have utr numbers as we are SE but agencies will not furlough as the nature of work doesn’t involve consistent monthly work with the same agencies!

More details

All SE with income of paye crossing the invoice one are facing a status quo in which they can’t claim either! Agencies will not furlough workers and we can’t ask the SE treatment as paye income might be more. Whoever has a UTR number and files taxes should be treated as the SE which we are in fact. We decide whom to work for and when. Can’t be forgotten for loopholes in times of COVID as we cannot find work. AMEND THE PAYE TO INVOICE RATIO AND TREAT AS AS SELF EMPLOYED!
