Closed petition Pay extra £2500/mth to NHS staff in Corona Virus wards or with Covid19 patients.

All NHS staff who are working directly with patients that are diagnosed with Covid19 / have tested positive for Covid19 should be paid a bonus / danger money to reflect their selfless dedication to patients. Everyone on the wards or in testing stations or in any contact with diagnosed patients.

The government MUST recognise the selfless dedication of NHS and Ambulance service workers.

MPs could receive up to £10,000 to work from home and so that gives a good starting figure.

Or since furloughed workers are to be Government funded with up to £2500 per month then health care workers who are still attending work and putting themselves at risk should be paid an additional £2500 per month backdated since February and continuing until they can be innoculated successfully.
