Closed petition Enable regular testing of every person in Britain for coronavirus to contain it

The government should create tens of thousands of virus test centres, such as in areas/buildings now in disuse due to social distancing restrictions. It should be inventive and resourceful in creating these e.g. South Korea have drive through test centres.

More details

If all the people with coronavirus are identified and told to completely isolate, the coronavirus will be contained. This strategy appears to be the most successful abroad, in South Korea, Germany, New York and Iceland for instance, for controlling the virus. To resuscitate the fifth largest economy, we should execute this strategy. Billions of pounds should be invested in this effort and over 10,000 test centres should be created. The government's plans and achievements have not gone far enough
