Closed Require suitable businesses offer remote & flexible working to employees

COVID19 demonstrates many office-based businesses can continue to survive, and thrive, with teams working remotely from their homes.

Employees of relevant businesses should be given the option to work remotely and flexibly at times that suit both them & their employer, long term after COVID19.

This could:

• Reduce unnecessary rush hours, congestion & accidents in commuting
• Focus employees on most productive times, encourage more parents to work flexibly & contribute to economy
• Reduce strain on NHS with GP appointments outside office hours
• Improve mental & physical health (replace commutes with fitness, family time, cooking healthy meals)
• Prepare many businesses to remote work in future if more viral outbreaks
• More jobs to talent outside cities or to disabled unable to travel
