We petition government to debate the importance of appropriate funding for the public sector and the need to protect their budgets from the impact that COVID19 has had on the national debt.

COVID19 has proven how much this country relies on the public sector and also how fragile it has become after a decade of austerity.
This has had a devastating impact on public service delivery and the working conditions of public sector workers that have felt the financial impact through changes to their pay and conditions too.
The nation recognised during the COVID19 lockdown just how important it is to have a resilient public sector.
Please protect this sector from further cuts.
