Rejected petition Increase the pension of Captain Tom in line with his rank.

In line with his promotion to Colonel the government should arrange for the pension of Tom Moore (known to everyone in the UK as Captain Tom) to be increased in line with his new rank; whether honourary or not.

For his selflessness, sheer determination, for galvanising a nation behind him and for the money raised for our beloved NHS the government should not only honour and recognise this man but should do what it can to make his life more comfortable.
The government should direct the department or service responsible to adjust his pension to one commensurate with that awarded to a colonel.|
