Closed Increase funding for those children with SEN when school resumes

The Government needs to provide schools with additional ring fenced funding for those children who would normally qualify for Top Up or Low incident / high needs funding.

During this period of lockdown many children who have SEN will not be able to access their support contained in their EHCP
Being home schooled is particularly challenging for those children.
Many may struggles to write, understand language and process information. They will struggle to re establish routines and the ability to socialise.
During the period,they might fall further behind their peers. Many would having started this period a few years academically behind their peers.
