Provide free legal aid for victims of domestic abuse, without conditions. Further support should be provided for those with disabilities or language issues with greater accessibility as a requirement. Many victims rely on evidence from a doctor, which is presently difficult to obtain.

The lockdown caused by coronavirus has highlighted the startling issue of domestic abuse and violence that occurs on a daily basis with helplines reporting up to 50% increase in call volume. The Law Society has called for unconditional legal aid to be provided to victims.
