Closed Commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day in 2021

There were a number of events planned to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day but due to the pandemic these had to be cancelled. It would be great if the Government supported the same events to go ahead in 2021 provided it is safe to do so.

Men and Women paid the ultimate price to secure the peace we enjoy today. They deserve the recognition and national celebration that was due in 2020. It will also be a poignant want to bring the country together after a year of battling the pandemic.
