Make it mandatory for all United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme members to provide a copy of their registration certificate and indemnity insurance certificate with all quotations.

The industry is getting a bad name and customers are getting a raw deal due to some rougue trades who are not actually qualified / registered with any United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme but claim be. Customers are being put at unnecessary risk of being taken advantage of by unqualified / uninsured traders.
