Closed Change the official units of measurement from Metric back to Imperial

I would like the Government to amend the Weights & Measures Act to change official standards of measurement in the United Kingdom to Imperial Units, as it was before 1965, and before even harsher EEC/EU directives.

I and many others believe that this amendment would add greater sovereignty to our nation post-Brexit, whilst alleviating any confusion when trading and travelling with the largest global economy, the USA, which is set to be a strong ally post-Brexit.
