Closed Covid-19 press briefings to be delivered only by qualified experts

We need the government to allow the appropriate research facilities and medical facilities to appoint their own spokespersons to deliver daily press briefings directly to the public rather government ministers who are not qualified experts in the field.

The current confusion over official advice is largely due to the conflicting priorities of the government's economical concerns and the NHS concerns regarding the health of the nation. Clinical advice should be delivered directly to the public WITHOUT interferance from government representatives with possible other agendas.
The government should be RESPONDING to the scientific data, not delivering it.
