Rejected petition Reopen zoos, aquariums and other related institutions

Re open the zoological institutions in accordance with social distancing to prevent them from financial bankruptcy and to enable them to carry on their conservation work and to protect the animals already in their care. Non essential shops have opened as have landscaped spaces...why not zoos?

More details

They provide an important service. Many of their animals are endangered and so many zoos, aquariums and other such institutions are vital in conservation efforts. They educate people about these creatures and they deserve to be open. They can implement social distancing measures far more effectively than can landscaped open spaces which are often unsupervised and better than non essential shops.
