Closed Legislate to keep all UK prisons and policing in the public sector

The Government should legislate to keep all prisons and policing in the public sector. This should reverse any current arrangements for contracting-out of prison and policing services, and ban any similar arrangements in the future.

In America, the prison industry benefits financially from the prison population increasing. This is not an approach we want to see in the UK.
