Rejected petition Allow Chester Zoo to re-open to help pay for the animal care costs.
Due to Covid 19, Chester Zoo has had to close. This has been an understandable measure up until now.
More details
If you are to allow retail stores, which are indoors, to re-open then we need to allow Chester Zoo to re-open. The animals need vetinary care and food, this cannot be paid for without the public visiting the site. It is outdoors and they have already put measures in place to adhere to social distancing.
