Closed petition Require A-level qualifications for all new police recruits
We want to raise the level of education required for being a police constable and make the training more extensive to ensure safety for all communities. An A-level in a social science should be the absolute minimum for this role. Currently only GCSEs are required.

As police constables are those interacting with the community the most, we believe it is frankly irresponsible the lack of education and training for such a role.
