Protect the employment of parents with shielded children. Ensuring they are able to remain at home with their child with no financial disadvantage due to shielding.

People living with shielded people have been addressed, but not in the context of a child who needs care from a parent.The guidance for people living with those who are shielded allows them to return to work.However, in the case of a shielded child this is not possible as child care cannot be provided. The parent and child will not be able to follow the social distancing measures to allow this to happen due to caring responsibilities.
